Hi
I am trying to learn C# but I have a problem.
I'm trying to have a virtual class with an abstract method that is a getter.
It returns a void pointer, but when I debug and run via the compiler it says
that himem.sys is missing. I know this must be a COM-problem. Do you think I
should try a for-loop instead of foreach?

I am not sure if it is a COM problem. himem.sys, as far as I recall, is
a file that has information about the Lotus-Intel extended memory that
was introduced into Windows from Windows 95 onward and enabled Windows
to run in two modes: protected and (something else, I don't remember).
That file has nothing to do with COM. Correct me if I am wrong, someone.
Hi,
himem.sys is a MS-DOS related file.
It's handle the memory above 640k (this was an old limitation).
I doubt there is a link with your problem.
What compiler are you using ?

You mean that the lotus-intel-extended virtual memory needs windows 95? I'm
running windows 2003.
Do you think I should re-install or just use nosmoke.com?
Sorry for playing a joke on you, but I just wanted to see what kind of
answers I would get if I asked a nonsense question.
COM = almost Completely Obsolete weird Model
So you see, even the name is wrong. It should be ACOWM =)

var q = download.Where(copy =copy.vs2005).Express(e =>
e.Play).SaveTime().OrElse();
While q is IQuerable<T>, is it implemented by microsoft msdn or via a
subclass of Torrent? You got to love Extentions.

Have you tried alt.rec.humor? I think you might get a better reception there.

look in your system32 for a file called uraloser.dll. Rename this to
imaloser.com and restart your computer. If this does not work then download
the farcough utility from Microsoft.

I don't think this will work.
However, I can always code an imaloser.exe in VB6 and call uraloser.dll.
What vtable should I target?
IPaulaBean.Brillant() or
IConvert.ToLower().ToUpper().ToCharArray().ToStrin g()
Oh, I find this very difficult.. =)
Happy Coding

Yes, you too obviously.
I learn a lot from that website.
Have you noticed that many Java and C++ devs that post in that forum can't
recognize C#?
