How to run a process modally?

Process A starts process B. How does process A ensure that process B's
window runs modally?

Sathyaish,

Windows doesn't support this, AFAIK.

Thanks, Nicholas.

I think you're right. I recall having made a hack a couple of times
with VB6 by getting the Window handle from the process ID. Then,
calling SetParent to make the calling process' window the parent, then
calling the SetForegroundWindow or SetWindowLong with GWL_STYLE (or was
it position) set to a bitwise OR of WS_TOPMOST (I am forgetting the
others, to make the window stay on top always), etc.

It wasn't strictly a modal dialog yet, but just worked as a lousy hack.
I guess you're right. There's no way to do that in Windows.
