Scanning component ?

Hello everybody.
I need some .NET component (would be fine if its free) to work with
scanner.
I am planning to scan text or images. To scan to image files (jpg ...)
and *.pdf or *.doc for text.
Do you know where i can find it ?

I really want a free component, or non-expensive. thank you

Are you talking about OCR solution for reading text from image?

You can use solutions like following..

http://www.netomatix.com/products/Wo...t/Default.aspx
http://www.netomatix.com/Products/Do...ParserNet.aspx

Or MS Office COM objects, isharptext.net (sourceforge) etc.

Honestly, no.
I am not sure about OCR in future, but for now i am looking for
component will allow to me to scan text via scanner and to get image
for it or pdf/doc file.

And will be very good if this component will be free or non-expensive

Oh! i just understood... *.doc format requires OCR :)
So, for now, i think i don't need to scan to DOC-format.
