Windows forms functionality on the web

Hi all:

I am playing with GDI+ a bit and wondering, is it possible to create a
custom control that encapsulates some of the drawing capabilities and can be
run inside IE? I guess it would have to be an ActiveX control and downloaded
by the user? So I assume that would not work in things like Firefox, Safari,
IE for the Mac, etc.?

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

John.
