WinAPI ReportEvent method
You can see this in reflector

if (!UnsafeNativeMethods.ReportEvent(new HandleRef(this, this.writeHandle),
(short) type, category, eventID, buffer1, ...)
You need to use PInvoke to call ReportEvent
