What does it do?
Steve, it duplicates the lighting effects on Microsoft Flight Simulator
gauges to allow a developer to easily adjust the panel.cfg [Color] parameters
in the panel.cfg in a WYSIWYG manner.
You adjust the RGB of three "colors", day, night, & luminous, and it
computes the FS "tint" (scaling between night & day) - the tics to the right
of the scales - given the amount of environment lighting (the Sun slider),
and displays the gauge as it would appear in the game. You can toggle on the
"panel lights" to see luminous elements of the gauge luminesce, while the
background and case is tinted to night.
It is programmed in C# using GDI+ to display the overlaid elements of the FS
gauge, just as in the FS engine.
