Restricted control positioning in webform? Why?

VMI
Why can't I freely put my webform controls anywhere in my asp.net webform?
It's not like a Windows Form that I can place my control anywhere in the Form.
Is there any way I can change that?

Thanks.

Hi,

You can put them anywhere you want.

Where you can't put them?

You can place it where you like, but that doesn't mean it will display
there, It will follow the html layout conventions from top left. You need
to rely on things like stylesheets and tables to dictate web page layout,
unlike a winform.
