VS2005 - Help returns nothing during search

Hi,

I have an odd problem that someone else may have come accross.

VS2005 Pro. Fulll MSDN Installed. Search set up to only go local (Not
online)

On Friday I noticed that I was getting no results back from my searches. I
investigated today (Monday) and have determined that when signed on as a
local Administrator I get the expected search results. When signed onto the
domain I get no results from very obvious searches like "Form Class".
Changing the search settings to go online brings up the expected online
results. The index and contents appear to be there normally.

The obvious question is what else changed on my machine, but I cannot think
of anything that was done on my machine that would cause an issue. The only
change I am aware of is the internet access changed to use a proxy server.
This was reversed today but the problem continues.

Has anybody else experineced this and does anyuone know the fix.

Thanks.

I can sort of answer my own question.

It was down to the local profile on my PC.

I removed the profile and the logged back onto the domain and all was well.
Had to set a few things back up again but Help search worked and that was
the main thing.

This may help someone else in the future.
