HP iPAQ serie hx2400

I'm developing a small application using C# and a small Sql server 2005
database, the application works just fine, but when during the application I
need to open the keyboard o enter data, it takes roughly about 20 seconds to
pop up. Is any pocket pc spacification that I should consider to run a small
app, and a small database.
All the other programs , standard one , works ok with the keyboard.
