Socket through two ports?

Ole
I'm a newbie in socket communication and would like to know if it's possible
to communicate through two ports? I have two PC's with fixed IP adresses and
would like to send data through one "channel" and error codes through
another "channel" and thought that it could be solved by using two different
ports in each PC.

Thanks and best regards,
Ole

Open two sockets - one for each port you need.
