Installing Microsoft Visual Studio

Sh
Hi All,

I am having trouble installing MS Visual Studio .Net Enterprise
Architect 2003 on my home PC. I have downloaded Visual Studio
Enterprise Architect 2003 from the microsoft website. When I run the
setup.exe, it first tries to update the Microsoft .Net Framework and it
fails from there. It says Unable to update the required components.
Do any one of you have any idea, why its happening like this. If you
have any troubleshooting tips, please let me know.

Thank you in advance.

Shetty

Can you make it skip that step? You probably already have up-to-date .NET.

Are you logged in as an administrator on this machine?
Can you download the .net 1.1 framework and install it?
