Opening Excel, user update

HI all,
I am opening a rather larger excel workbook +-50000 rows. Is there a way
that I can give the user some feedback as to the process

Thanks
Robert

I am not sure if this is possible as MS Excel doesn't give you events for
progress. you could open file in separate thread and display splash form
until file is loaded (or load fails)

Hope this helps
