DataGridView: programatically simulate RowAdd escape to cancel

Hi,

Does anyone know how to simulate the 'escape' key functionality for
cancelling add ing a new row in DataGridView.

I have attempted to use CancelEdit(). They seem to only remove/dispose the
editing of the current cell of the added row. However, the new row is still
there.

One way I can think of is <below>, but I think it is somewhat ugly. Any
ideas?

(Below is intended as peudo code, not exact C# coding)
{
....
DataGridView.CancelEdit()

oDataRow = <Get the row matching the current row in DataGridView>
oDataRow.Delete()

....}

Thanks,

Hi George.

As far as I can see, your code looks fine to me. Becase when you leave a
cell in the newly added row, its EndEdit is already called. So we cannot
add CancelEdit call to that cell. So the only way is to call Delete on the
current editing row.

HTH.
