visual studio 2005 or visual web developer?

P: n/a
I need to build an ASP .NET application. Currently, we are using visual web
developer express edition. We would like to switch to the Visual Studio 2005
to do the rest of the coding. Is this transition fairly straight forward?
Also, can VS 2005 do everything that Visual Web Developer can?

Thanks.

Hello,

As of my experience, there are no problems encoutered when running
applications created by the Express editions on VS 2005. Myself, I
develop at home on VWExpress and on VS 2005 at work.

Besides, it is obvious that VS 2005 does all what VWExpress does, and
much more. Why would it be so expensive then??
