Off programming but related question ...

I'm looking for an icons for my application. As I'm not an Picasso
and I can not draw it by myself I would like to download/buy
some icons pack. I would like it to be a good quality,
true color, XP style icons.

Any ideas?

Why not search Google, just type Free Icons and see how many hits you
get.

May 18 '06 #5
In fact, go to www.wincustomize.com. You should find lots of high
quality icons there.

OK, let me get this straight. You're "not a Picasso," so you don't want to
create your own Icons. You don't like the quality of the Icons that come
with Visual Studio. This is odd because the XP Icons that come with it are
quite nice (IMHO), but let's overlook that. You've also been told that you
can find Icons on the Office Web Site and Google for free Icons on the
Internet. What else do you need at this point?

Try www.axialis.com IconWorkshop if you don't mind paying - it's good for the
non-artistic person (which I definitely am)...

Very easy to use, and does create high quality icons - quickly, and from
scratch!

And before you ask, no I don't work for them, I just have a reg'd copy of
that app that I use for my apps...
