typeof ?

P: n/a
Hi All,

I saw a line:

vertexBuffer = new
VertexBuffer(typeof(CustomVertex.TransformedColore d), 3, dev, 0,
CustomVertex.TransformedColored.Format, Pool.Default);

Could you please advice what is "typeof" doing?

that is a type conversion like (int) , (char*) ..?

Best regards,
