C# 2.0 Book

Hi,

I am looking to purchase a C# book that covers .NET 2.0 and Visual Studio
2005.
I have seen two books that seem good:-

Pro C# 2005 & the .NET 2.0 Platform - Andrew Troelsen

Programming C# 4th Edition - Jesse Liberty

Does anyone have any opinions on what is the better book or any alternative
suggesstions?

Thanks In Advance

I've read both of them - both have their strengths Troelsen's book is
larger and dives under the hood a bit more, whether you need to learn
how to code in pure IL is questionable though, my advice would be to
read Jesse Liberty's first it really is a very good book and if you feel
you need more of the nuts and bolts read the other one

.........one other advantage is the Jesse often lurks in these groups, so can
often be found answering questions.

I read another of Liberty's books which was quite good, so I suspect the one
you mention would be good as well although I haven't read it.

I love Troelsen's book, I keep coming back to it over and over again. HIGHLY
reccomend it.
