enumerate through all combo boxed in a web form

I have a web form which has 20 drop down boxes.

Rather reference each dropdown by name to get the value i would like to
use a simple loop to enumerate through each drop down boxes value.

Is this possible?

If they share the same parent element, it's quite easy:

foreach (Control control in TheParentElement) {
DropDownList dropdown = control as DropDownList;
if (dropdown != null) {
// here you have only DropDownList objects
}
}
