installer question

I am not sure this is the best place to ask this question, but here goes:

I am creating an installer which has a custom action that must know the
installation directory. That is, the installer has a dialog (Install | Start
| Installation Folder) allowing the user to change the installation
directory. Later in the installation process there is an AfterInstall custom
action (implemented as an AfterInstall event handler for the Install class)
which needs to know the installation directory. This may, of course, have
been changed from the default value by the Installation Folder dialog. How
can I get this value?

Thanks in advance.
