Application Icon on Windows TaskBar Not Showing

Greetings,

I have an application that is launched and controlled (hide or show)
via DDE messages from another application. The first time the
application is launched it shows as it should and the application icon
shows in the Windows taskbar. After a hide (this.hide on the form)
when it shows again (this.show on the form) there is no icon showing on
the Windows taskbar. If by chance a user clicks on a window there is
no way for him/her to get back to the application other than alt+tab
(which most don't know and shouldn't have to know) or closing windows
one-by-one until the app window appears.

Does anyone have any idea why this might be occurring and what sort of
solution might be available?

Thanks much,

Mike
