Accessing Application Settings Created In VS2005 Designer

I have added some user scope level variables in my Windows Forms
Application. However, I can't seem to access them.
From the doc's I found that you should be able to access them via

Configuration.Settings.Default
which did not work for me. Than I found another reference that you
could use Properties.Settings.Default and that did not work either.
Both give errors that "Properties" does not exist in this context or
that I am missing namespaces.

Any examples or idea's on what is needed to access those properties?

Properties.Default is the correct way of accessig them.
Look in the solution explorer there is a node Propeties. Under this node
there must be Settings.settings node and nester under it there must be a
code behind file for the settings called Settings.Designer.cs.

Look in this file, there where the Settings class is defined. Pay attention
on the namespace it is <app defalult name space>.Properties. If the code
trying to use the settings is not in the default namespace you need to use
the using clause or to use the fully qualified name of the Settings class.

Thank you - that was exactly it. When I checked the
settings.designer.cs class I seen what the namespace was to fully
qualify it.

Thanks again!
