Permissions for Updater Application Block

Would like to know how to make this work for a user not logged in as
Administrator.

We can get this to work when the client computer has an Administrator logged
in.

Would appreciate a pointer on how to do this correctly.

regards
Mark

Hello!

There is dedicated forum for Microsoft.Updater block. You have much
better chances to get answers there.

Follow the link to get there:

I agree. I have never gotten useful information from that forum. To be
honest, I think that the UAB is a dead technology, because they said that
they would not update it to VIsual Studio 2005, and you should use ClickOnce
instead. However, since ClickOnce doesn't support many of the features that
UAB supports (such as installation of .MSI files, which are needed if your
product has any kind of complex requirements such as installing a Windows
service), this doesn't actually seem like a reasonable answer to me.
