Same DataGridView in 2 places?

Is there a way to put the same DataGridView in 2 different places (on 2
different tabs of a TabControl)? I want to change the visibility of the
columns and the width of some of them depending on which tab is showing.
There are other tabs that have different things on them, but two of the set
need to contain either synchronized DataGridViews or the same DataGridView.

I suppose I could add the same DataGridView to two tabs, but would that
confuse the Designer terribly?
