Media Center 2005 as devlopment laptop?

I am rebuilding one of my dev boxes and was thinking of loading media center
in lieu of xp. Anyone foresee downsides to this? I mainly do asp.net, c#
apps.

You won't be able to add your MCE2005 machine to a domain after install
(without hacks), and you don't get cached credentials. But other than that,
MCE2005 has the same components available as XP Pro.
