Strong typing and accessing a custom property on a hosted HTML element

I have a hosted web page, in the documentComplete event for the webbrowser
control I have the following code.
IHTMLElement oState = (IHTMLElement)oDoc.getElementById("x2State");

if (oState!=null){

oState.oHost = oForm.oMaster;

}

"oState.oHost = oForm.oMaster" generates the compile time error:

C:\learning\c#\myProject\myProject\Form1.cs(56,28) : error CS0117:
'mshtml.IHTMLElement' does not contain a definition for 'oHost'

I understand that the error is caused because IHTMLElement doesn't have an
attribute of oHost. oHost is a property that I have created for the purposes
of some Javascript code. Can anyone tell me, how do I access this property
from C# without getting an error? I need to assign a value to it.

Thanks
