Problem on close form

Hi, i have a strange problem, i have a windows application with a
datagrid and a save and cancel button. In the datagrid, i have checked
in the currentcellchanged() one condition and i show a message with
MessageBox.show() if condition is true and if i show this message, when
i push cancel button that only has the code "this.close()", the
datagrid turns on red, it seems the mail symbol,jeje, and the program
hangs up but if i don't show the messagebox it works succesfully.
Any idea?

If i live again in the future i will work with plants and trees, less
problems....

you push the cancel button on the Form, when a message box is shown?.. or
you are showing a cancel button in the MessageBox
