ComboBox doesn't have border when appearance is made flat in VS.NET2005

hi

i am using visual studio 2005. i could make combobox flat, but
without border. is there any way to draw a border for it ?!!!

Will FlatStyle.System give you the appearance you seek?
The ComboBox class does not define a BorderStyle or BorderColor property, so
you're left with an option of using the System.Drawing classes to draw a
border yourself.
Perhaps others have more elegant ways...

Why are you setting it to flat? It will display the way you want it if you
choose Standard...

Why are you setting it to flat? It will display the way you want it if you
choose Standard...

nope. if u choose classic theme for windows xp, comboboxes will have 3d
look.

True, but, why would you want comboboxes to look differently than the rest of

again, i have all other controls flat in the form. so, i would like to
have combobox also flat.
