Incomplete output from console

I have created a client-server application that reads from a dos shell
/ console.
The output is available on the stdout.

I have a thread that reads from stdout (using ReadLine() ) and raises
an event to update the UI. ReadLine hangs before it reads the last few
lines of output.

I find that if the UI thread is blocked on a waitone when the output
thread reads from StdOut, the entire output is received.

The priority of the UI thread and the thread that reads the output is
'Normal'.

I'm trying to run the application on a Win XP PC.

Can somebody please help me on this?
