Does anyone know where in the registry the following goes?
WriteProfileString("windows", "Device", DeviceLine)
Or where this comes from?
GetProfileString("PrinterPorts", vbNullString, "", ProfileString,
Len(ProfileString))
Or where this goes?
In Start/Printer and Faxes/File/Server Properties/Forms/Create a new form
I've been searching the registry trying to find matches so I can figure it
out but there are so many matches that I can be conclusive.
Thanks for any info 4 2592

Hi,
According to MSDN this is stored in win.ini file and it's just for
compatibility with 16 bits windows
maybe more details can help to give you a better answer.

I don't believe they are in that file. I've looked.
I believe the functions gets mapped to the registry.
thanks
