From mono to IIS

Is it possible to create a .Net project using mono and upload it to a
IIS server?
If I write all my bin files using mono can I then upload these to my
IIS host?

Yep - Mono is designed to be cross-platform, including IIS on Windows...

However, if you don't need to support anything other than IIS, then you
don't need Mono in the first place... :-)

I have an IIS host where I want to run my asp.net application, the back
end of this app is pure c# .dll files.

Can I write my .dll files using mono and upload these to my host and
use them in asp.net pages?

Do you have any links regarding this?

It is my understanding that Mono is a development technology which allows
the development of .NET applications and their deployment onto various
platforms not supported by .NET natively...
