Why would you ask, if your posts were getting deleted?

How would I answer?

Well, this one has not been deleted, so my guess is that your other posts
had content deemed unacceptable? Any chance your other posts contained
advertising or solicitations of some sort (i.e. spam)?

advertising or solicitations of some sort (i.e. spam)? there isn't any censorship in here. you can pretty much say what ever you
wanted to whom ever without losing sleep over it. (not that you should)

FWIW, I've seen numerous obvious spam messages posted in these public groups
with content removed. The message headers stay on the list, but when you try
to access the message, you get an indication that the message body has been
deleted. From that, I inferred that the removal had occurred at the server.
Of course, having said that and searching for an example, I can't find one
right now :)
I can't find previous posts from "blah", so unless he cares to clarify or
repost, I guess we'll never know what happened.

And, now, I've found several past posts from "blah" which are on the list
and the content is still on the server, going back to 2/3/2006. If these are
the messages being referenced, perhaps it is an issue with blah's news
client?
In the past, I've sometimes had to (using Outlook Express) unsubscribe,
delete the .dbx file, then resubscribe to a group to see all the posts.
