Using DB Transactions in DLL and also in SP

Hello,

Is this okay to use ...

SqlTransaction.BeginTransaction()
SqlTransaction.Commit();
SqlTransaction.RollBack()

and in Stored Procedure also, I am using
BEGIN TRANSACTION <block>

@@ERROR checking
and
COMMIT
OR
ROLLBACK

I am using transation on both the sides is C# coding and in SP for inserting
and updating tables.

Please let me know about saying on this scenario (suggestions, ideas, helps
advices) I am open to all.

Hope to see all your valuable responses as soon.

with regards.
