I have been really struggling on my application's design and what
architecture to utilize. It's kind of a unique application that hosts
several "sub application" for example: Inventory Manager, User Manager, etc
Due to this functional separation, when I stumbled across the Composite UI
Application Block (CAB), I thought I had found the ideal solution. As I
spend more and more time with it, I'm realizing just how much work is
involved to use it. I'm also wondering if I'm trying to drive a tiny nail
with a sledgehammer!
I would like to ask you all here if there are other frameworks/architectures
out there that might be a little simpler and still facilitate (or force
would be even better) decent decoupling, clean design and lend itself well
to a situation like mine where you have an application comprised of logical
"sub systems"?
Any links or example sites with code would be very much appreciated.
