Archetictural Question?

what is the best solution to create an object that contains data
representing a SYMBOL. The
object should be able to accept changes to the internal data and alert
other objects when the data has changed.
I am thiking of a broadcast situation.
Any feed Back is most welcome.

Sounds like you should check out the observer pattern.

Hi,
as chris mentioned you should look into the Observer pattern, also if you
are using .Net 2.0 Microsoft now have an interface called
INotifyPropertyChanged which has an event called PropertyChanged. This can
be raised each time a property changes adn is useful if you are databinding
in your GUI as the data binding will be refereshed automatically anytime one
of these events is raised.
