Can VB code access C# methods w/in same App_Code?

Using VS2005, I wrote a C# web application. One small part of the app needed
to communicate with an old VB6 COM SMTP component. Ran into some frustrating
type-mismatch issues, so I decided to add a shared VB.NET function to make
the call.

I created separate language folders in App_Code, and added the appropriate
codeSubDirectories entries in my Web.config. Everything works fine, except
that I would also like to use an existing static method within a C# Utility
class. Both C# and VB class files use the same namespace.

Although I have no problem calling both VB and C# code from my code behind,
it doesn't look like my VB and C# code can see each other. I this a
multi-language limitation, or am I missing something?
