SMTP error

JPS
I seem to have everything setup correctly but when I send a messge I
get this.

The problem is: Could not access 'CDO.Message' object.

Is there an InnerException? That usually gives more information. It may
well be that you haven't got CDO installed, for instance.

As I said in another thread (it's not generally a good idea to start
this many threads for essentially one problem, btw) you could consider
using Indy instead.

JPS,
There are literally hundreds of little things that could be causing this
problem.
Really, the best place to start is the Systemwebmail.com website or for 2.0,
systemnetmail.com. Lots of very helpful information there.

No, I don't believe so. If you search for that error message, you'll
find the web is littered with people having problems :( Hopefully yours
will be easy to sort though.

On XP and higher, CDO (cdosys.dll) comes with the OS on W2K it's installed
with IIS.
What OS are you running and what is the context you are using this component
from (Windows application, service ....)?

Willy.
