Deploying app that uses outlook dlls

Hi

I have a small app which needs to be able to send out email (via
outlook) under certain conditions. I've got it working perfectly on my
PC, but I'm not sure how to deploy it. The (apparently valid)
assumption is that the user will have outlook installed and will be
logged in as a valid outlook user.

My project has 3 outlook-related dlls referenced -
Interop.Microsoft.Office.Core.dll, Interop.Outlook.dll, and stdole.dll.
Do I need to distribute these dlls with my app, or will they be
available on the target PC (seeing as it will have outlook installed)?
Am I allowed to distribute these dlls? And do I need to register them
on the target PC (I see that stdole.dll seems to reside in the GAC).
And what if the target pc has a different version of outlook installed?
I've looked around on the net, and I've seen mention of PIAs and late
binding and stuff ... but I'm totally confused :-(
