Event in c# windows form's DataGrid

Hi,

What will be the event in a C# windows form after I enter some data in a
grid cell?
I am not sure if this is possbile:

In a DataGrid it is ReadOnly False, and the DataGrid has 5 columns.
When I type data into the column [ItemID], it will check a DataSet, if finds
no corresponding data, then I have to type in the other 4 columns. If it
find a corresponding data, then the other 4 columns will be brought here.
Same thing happens to 2nd Row, 3rd Row, ..., and so on.

If the DataGrid in not ideal for doing this, then what kind of Windows
Control should I use?
Any help wil be appreciated.
