Integration between two systems w/o reinventing the wheel

Hi,

I'd like to write a little bidirectional connector, which should sync data
between two systems. Are there any components which I can use for this
purpose, without reinvening the wheel?

Thanks for any advice

Yes, Microsoft makes one, but it has a very steep learning curve, and is
expensive. You
might want to post more details about the project to get better answers.
