Error in dataset

hi all

i am having application which is retrieving records from sql server's
databse and after updating column it is storing result back to datbase.

My problem is i am getting following error message:-

Operation failed. The index entry of length 902 bytes for the index
nameexceeds the maximum length.

can some tell me why this is happening,

any help will be appreciated.

thanks in advance.

When did you get this message? i mean did you get it while you were adding a
new record or updating an existing one?
