I haven't been able to get the File Transfer Manager (FTM) to make a
connection.
Even trying to connect in the wee hours of the morning. I have the FTM set
to 100 retries and it still won'tmake a connection.

Did you go through a lot of retries before the download actually started
GTi?

No I download MSVC on 2 disks (Don't have DVD burner) and the 3 disks
for MSDN in about 3 hours. No problem at all. The time I downloaded it
was when I posted my post.
But I haven't been able to install yet - Perhaps on monday (or a
preview home).

Thanks for your response.
Note you don't need a DVD burner. You could use ISO Buster to bust the iso
to your file system and install from the disk.
