Hi all,
I am getting the following error when i run CR 11 in .NET "The Microsoft
Layer for Unicode(unicows.dll) can not be found. This program will now
exit." I downloaded the Unicode.exe from the Microsoft website, but when i
try to register the dll, it fails with an error stating that unicows.dll was
loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found.
Does anyone know anything about this?

Why are you trying to register a DLL that shouldn't be registerd at all. All
you should do is copy the file in the framework path ...
..\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322

Hi Willy,
I tried your suggestion, but still end up getting the same
error. Any other ideas? I am at my wit's end to get this working.
I am running WinXP Pro SP2 on my virtual machine(VMWare 5.0)

Not sure what the problem with CR11 is but XP is a unicode OS, unicows.dll
is for Windows95,98 and Me only.

Hi Willy,
If i run CR11 on its own, it runs fine. I get the error
when i run it within .net IDE. Do you know how i can fix this?
