No touch deployment and reflection

Hi all,

I have an app which is being no-touch-deplopyed. One of the library
assemblies the exe uses makes a call to
System.Reflection.Assembly.GetExecutingAssembly(). This works fine if
you run the application normally, but when run using NetRun (a loader
for no touch deployment applications, see
http://lhotka.net/Articles.aspx?id=2...-b8f80766ecb3),
the call returns null. Any ideas why?

Thanks
Andy

Hi,

The only cause I can think of now is lack of privileges.

Why you are using NetRun ? Why not use a simple setup project?
cheers,

Hi,

Sorry for th efirst post, I just read the link and it says that it grants
full permissions , so there is noa permission problem.

Now my advice is to contact NetRun and explain the problem to them
cheers,
