"Cannot create a child list for field tblProjects" error

[Dica]

i'm just trying out c# and VS 2003 for the first time and i'm running into
an error:

"Cannot create a child list for field tblProjects"

the section of code that seems to be throwing this is:
this.sqlDataAdapter1.Fill(dsProjects1, "tblProjects");

cboProjects.DataSource = dsProjects1;

cboProjects.DisplayMember = "tblProjects.projectName";

cboProjects.ValueMember = "tblProjects.id";
if i comment this code out and switch back to wysiwyg mode, i no longer
receive the error. however, if i make any other revisions to the page while
still in this mode and switch back to code mode, the commented out code is
removed. if i don't comment out the code and just run the app, the comboBox
is populated with the data from tblProjects just fine.

so, anybody know why i'm getting this error? and, is there a way to keep VS
2003 from dropping my code revisions when switching back and forth between
code/wysiwys mode?
