NetFileEnum and NET_FILE_INFO_3

Hi.
NetFileEnum lists files accessed on a machine over a network and the user
accessing them. I was wondering if anybody knew why this function returns
the path and filename if the file being accessed is opened with Word (for
example) but only returns the path and no file name if the same file is
opened with notepad?
Does anybody know what functions to look at the return the file name if file
is opened with notepad?
Thanks a lot for any suggestions.
