Question about using 2000 server vs. 2003 server

Hi all: We are going to release a Web Service project in .NET to production.
Our server people are telling me that they will purchase a new server with
2003 server on it. I'd like to know what is advantage and disadvantage of 03
server vs 00 server ?

Thanks in advance.

For them:
- Easier management

For you:
- Better performance

I can understand that they *want* to use Windows Server 2003.

However, just yesterday I talked to a customer that had read our
'requirements' that said Win2003 and asked if they could use Win2000
instead. This was not even an issue. - Sure, why not.
