VS 2005 TabControl bug?

I've come across an odd bit of behavior on the VS 2005 TabControl, and I'm
wondering if its a bug, or if I'm missing something.

I have a TabControl with five tab pages. Each page has a DataGridView
control. On FormLoad, I bind the grids to DataTables and set the grid
columns' HeaderText to the column captions from the DataTables. The
HeaderText assignment works fine for the grid on the first tab page, but for
none of the others.

For degugging purposes, I hooked my HeaderText assignment method to the
TabControl's Click event, and I discovered that the HeaderText assignment
works only for the grid on the 'top' tab page. Oddly enough, all of the
other DataGridView property assignments work fine for all grids, including
those on hidden tab pages.

Here's my question: Is this a bug, or am I misunderstanding something about
the TabControl or the DataGridView control? Thanks in advance.
