Now when the user click the submit button then new popup window

But i want to open the default.aspx page in same parent window in which
Index.html is already open . Please tell me the way how i can reffresh

There are multiple ways to do this here are 2:

<a href="javascript:;" onclick="parent.location='someurl.aspx">

would happen every time the button is clicked, but if you want to do it in
the code behind page you could do this:

string redirectParentScript = "<script language='javascript'>" +
"parent.location='" + url + "';</script>";
Page.RegisterStartupScript("ReDirectParentScript", redirectParentScript );

If I have understood, you have to use javascript.

Look for window.opener. I have not used it, but I know that other uses
it for do that. I can't help you more.

I hope it helps.
