Windows CE Emulator Development

Hi All,

I am currently developing software for a Windows CE PC which i currently
dont have the hardware, thus I am using the emulator for VS2003. The
software writes out Timesheet entries to file on the WIndows CE PC which
I have done but I require to get the files off the emulator to confirm
the are correct.

Is this possible with the Emulator or would I need the hardware for that
?

Best Wishes

Stuart

If you create a shared folder on your desktop PC, and then connect to that
shared folder through Windows Explorer on the emulator, you'll be able to
copy files to the shared folder from the emulator and they'll appear on the
desktop PC when you open the shared folder. You can connect by simply typing
the name of the computer and the share name, just as you would for another
computer on the network, within the address bar of Windows Explorer on the
emulator:

\\ComputerName\ShareName
