Problem in Listview control in smart devices

hi,
I am a new member of this group,when the application loads for the first time
selected_index change will fire and will lead me to the next form , when i
return back from that form and update the listview .n selecting any item in
list view nothing will happen on the first click, but when i click for the
second time selected_index change will fire. please help
